5K Run Details

Join in our 5K Run!  All proceeds benefit the South Western Education Foundation.

We will provide 5K awards to the following:

• Top Overall Male

• Top Overall Female

• Age Brackets:

  • 9 & under

  • 10 - 14

  • 15 - 19

  • 20 - 29

  • 30 - 39

  • 40 - 49

  • 50 - 59

  • 60 - 69

  • 70 & over   

The fun run is non-competitive.  A $5 donation is required to participate in the Fun Run.  T shirts for Fun Run participants are not provided, but my be purchased for an additional $10.

An Official Mustang Pride 5K T shirt is guaranteed for those who register early.  On race day, T shirts will be provided while supplies last, so get your apps in early!

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.  Race will be held rain or shine.  No refunds or mailed awards.

The 5K will be an open road course through the rolling hills of our campus and surrounding neighborhoods.  Their may be light traffic on some parts of the course.  See course map and details below.

Updated Map as of 2024.  NOTE:  Course has a slight change from previous years due to the current renovation of the high school.   Total elevation change from its lowest point to the highest point is ~250 feet, or 50 flights of stairs.

If it were a hike, it would be rated just at the top of EASY according to most trail difficulty calculators.
